We began class with a homophones word game. You know you love them. Come on... you do.
Then, we did a review of how to summarize a piece of text, using the graphic organizer "Central Word Connections". Students read a short article on the reasons people choose to smoke and completed a summary of the article. Judging from the results, it would appear we are ready for a summarizing quiz....
